Located in the High Marmilla, Pompu village is close to an important archaeological site in the area, the “Prabanta”, consisting of an imposing nuraghe, a mill of the eighteenth century, stone mills, beautiful portals with worked arches and the ” ancient church of San Sebastiano. Nearby are the archaeological site of “Su Laccu and Meli” and the nuragic settlement of Santu Miali.
The patron saint of the village is San Sebastiano, celebrated on January 20th.
