Archaeological Site of Cornus
 
The Archaeological Site of Cornus is located on the road between S’archittu and Santa Caterina di Pittinuri, in the town of Cuglieri.

Cornus was an ancient city of Punic era founded in the 6th century BC was made up of an acropolis, craft quarry, public forum and common housing.

In many writings it is reported as a connection point between Tharros and Bosa.

In the late antiquity, near the city of Cornus, the Christian complex of Columbaris emerged, with a large cemetery of which there are several sarcophagi and basilica with a suggestive baptismal source.
